Warranty
Thank you for your interest in the products from GTools.
This page explains GTools limited warranty coverage. The standard warranty for garage workbenches and storage systems applies to normal domestic use. Product-specific and extended warranties apply where advertised; commercial or industrial warranty terms may differ unless otherwise stated.
What does this limited return-to-base warranty cover?
This Limited Warranty covers any defects in material or workmanship under normal use during the Warranty Period. During the Warranty Period, GTools will repair or replace, at no charge, products or parts of a product that prove defective because of improper material or workmanship, under normal use and maintenance.
Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For major failures with the goods, you are entitled:
- to replacement goods; or
- to a refund for the unused portion, or to compensation for its reduced value.
If a failure with the goods or service does not amount to a major failure, you are entitled to have the failure rectified within a reasonable time agreed upon. If this is not done, you are entitled to a refund for the goods and to cancel the contract for the service and obtain a refund of any unused portion.
What will we do to correct problems?
GTools will either repair or replace the product at no charge, using new or refurbished replacement parts.
How long does the coverage last?
Our standard warranty for workbenches and storage units runs for 12 months from delivery or pickup. It covers manufacturing defects and hardware failure under normal domestic use. Extended warranties apply where advertised; commercial-use terms may differ. Products such as foam that are physically cut by the customer do not have a warranty beyond the alteration date.
A replacement Physical Good or part assumes the remaining warranty of the original Physical Goods.
Commercial Use & Product-Specific Coverage
Before ordering for a commercial or industrial environment, contact GTools to confirm the warranty terms for the selected products and intended use. Any advertised extended warranty is subject to the applicable warranty conditions. Your rights under Australian Consumer Law are not excluded.
What does this limited warranty not cover?
This Limited Warranty does not cover any problem that is caused by conditions, malfunctions, or damage not resulting from defects in material or workmanship. It does not cover return freight costs unless agreed by GTools.
What do you have to do?
To obtain warranty service, you must first contact us to determine the problem and the most appropriate solution for you. You may be asked to return the Physical Goods to the warehouse location from which you purchased them so we can inspect and repair or replace them. In some instances, it may be more convenient for us to issue replacement parts at our cost that you can install at your site for a speedy repair.
